Tom, I have installed Windows 7 on a partition ion my Macbook Pro and then installed VidBlaster. Now I want to use VidBlaster to produce a multi camera program and put it live onto Facebook (or Periscope). I am trying to figure out how to get the signal from VidBlaster out onto an app, instead of just using my Iphone as a camera?

Have you had any experience with this?

One idea I had was to use Bluestacks to install the app from Facebook and then be able to broadcast through that using VidBlaster.

I would be interested to hear your opinion and/or experience with any of this.

    Thank you.

Hi, There is a pretty simple solution to get your Vidblaster output onto Facebook using your Macbook Pro, but I am not sure how to do it with your phone – Once you have all of your cameras up and running in Vidblaster, select “Virtual Device” as your output. This takes your mixed Vidblaster output feed and sends it to a “Virtual Camera”. Once you have done that, select Vidblasters Virtual Device as the camera in Facebook, and away you go. You could then use your iPhone as a camera as well.

Thank you for your prompt response. I will try and test it asap and let you know how it works out.

    Greg,
I am not sure what I did wrong but I cannot find “virtual device” or any other camera input on my Facebook page. (I can only go live with my cellphone camera from my Facebook cellphone app.) Where and how on Facebook can I find the camera selection choice?

(Vidblaster is on Windows 7 on Bootcamp in my Macbook Pro because my understanding is that I cannot download Vidblaster onto my ios operating system.) All I can get for now is a Vidblaster VVD as an input in the camera modules.

    Any guidance here is appreciated.
    Joe

Hi Joe – Vidblaster VVD will be Vidblaster Virtual Video Device, thats what you are looking for. I guess they renamed it at some stage. Greg

    Ok Thanks.

Have you ever found Vidblaster VVD listed as a camera on Facebook? I cannot find it anywhere. It appears that I can only use my phone camera since I can only go live on my phone? Do you know of an other way that allows me to see the Vidblaster VVD and go live on Facebook? I cannot find it anywhere?
